The goal of the mountain division alliance is to continue to develop a public trail along the disused rail corridor, eventually connecting fryeburg with portland, about 50 miles to the southwest. We executed the first loop last week. The mountain division trail continues up a hill as a gravel path for 1.2 miles to the trailhead at the south shore of sebago lake. This trail is great for road biking, trail running, and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
